Rivian has launched the second generation R1 vehicles which are stunning, to say the least, and beneath the surface. These vehicles go through vigorous upgrades and overall outstanding bewildering regeneration for the brand's new model. While the exteriors might seem similar to the first generation of vehicles, they couldn't be any different underneath as where the work is taking place.

Rivian has been quietly innovating behind the scenes and now they can show off their incredible hard work.

Rivian Turns Up The Performance in The 2nd Gen R1 Models

The newest models utilise quad motor models the R1T and R1S both a whopping 1025 hp and £1198 feet of torque. This is impressive beyond anyone's belief that SUVs and trucks could ever achieve such high standards in the performance range of vehicles with acceleration from 0 to 62.5 seconds and a 1/4 mile sprint in 10.5 seconds, these vehicles are faster than top supercars from the UK Germany, Italy according to the CEO RJ Scaringe.

The CEO made it clear that these new models from Rivian can outrun a Ferrari Enzo, McLaren F1, or Porsche 911 GT 3RS in a 4 mile and that's a bold statement but the incredible thing is that it is true.

Rivian Autonomy Platform+

The incredible achievement from Vivian is outstanding with these new batteries that are less expensive to produce and they have a longer lifespan than traditional high nickel batteries.

With an estimated range from Rivian second-generation R1 models can accomplish up to 420 miles in EPA range slightly more than the maximum range of 410 miles for the first generation vehicles.

Rivian Boost Safety and Security

These new models come with 11 high-resolution cameras with incredible capabilities including 4K HDR units with 360° view and an ability to see up to 10 seconds ahead at highway speeds. These are incredible, to say the least improving the system's overall brain computer power and they have the highest number of camera pixels amongst all-electric vehicles in North America.

These also include advancements and radar systems in front of image radar 4 corner radar. This can accurately locate objects up to 1000 feet away despite difficult weather and light conditions which is perfect for pickup trucks.
