Polestar announces a new Polestar 2 model for 2025, featuring small design updates and, a new battery pack structure with an increased range. Sales have started in Europe and Canada, and the new P2 will be launched in other markets in late 2024.

The new Polestar 2 2025 comes with options for two new exterior colors. The new colors are Storm and Vapour which will replace the Magnesium as the standard colour. Storm which is a dark aluminium colour first seen on the Polestar 4, will now replace the Thunder.

The Polestar 2 2025 will feature a slightly different seatbelt design, black with a simple and elegant Swedish gold stripe.

All Polestar 2 versions come with an improved range of 659 km (WLTP) this will be the long-range single motor, while the European model comes with a standard range single motor with an upgraded 70 kWh CATL battery which also increases range up to 554 km (WLTP).

The Polestar 2 which started sales in 2020 has accumulated up to 160,000 units shipped to 27 markets.
